| Modality | Blend & Galvanic |
| Details | Model received about 1 hour of Galvanic & Blend on navel. Photos show how treatment area appears afterwards.
Photo #2 shows the treatment area immediately after, while Photo #3 shows the area 1-2 hours later. The red spots in #3 are "perifollicular erythema", this is a normal side effect and took about 3-4 weeks to resolve. Common causes of erythema is dilated blood vessels and/or increased number of capillaries (tiny blood vessels). The navel may be more prone to slower healing, compared to the face in healthy subjects. Healing is influenced by blood circulation, which varies between body regions. The visible hair reduction as seen in Photo #3 remained for atleast 3 months following this single treatment, however it was not photographically documented. |

Model received a full hysterectomy, including removal of both ovaries, approx 2 years prior to receiving electrolysis.
They were prescribed estradiol for HRT following the surgery, but discontinued it shortly after.
It's presumed they developed hirsutism, with estradiol deficiency being the primary cause. They also have high density accelerated vellus hair on cheeks & side burns, indicating these follicles are also being stimulated. They received Blend and Thermolysis on chin & neck over a period of 3 months, approx 6 to 8 hours of total treatment. They began transdermal estradiol in February; However it's unlikely to have an impact on visible hairs at this point in time. *Note: "First Clearance" refers to only terminal hairs. We were not prioritizing the accelerated vellus on chin. |

| Skin Type | Fitspatrick 3 |
| Hours of Treatment | Approx 2-3 |
| Months/Year | 12/25-02/26 |
| Modality | Thermolysis |
| Details | Model received approx 2-3, maybe 4 hrs of Thermolysis over a period of approx 2.5 months. Model may have shaved in between 1st & 2nd Treatment.
Will follow up in June 2026 to see if there is still a visible reduction in hair since last treatment on 02/02/26. This would be based on how many untreated follicles have produced a hair since last treatment. Although it's reasonable for there to be little or no noticeable reduction in visible hair with this case of treatment hours & hair density. |
